Chris Budo

Chris Budo, born Chrispine Omondi Budo in Ligega Ward, Ugunja, Siaya County, is a Kenyan development expert, farmer, and politician. He holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Nairobi and has over 20 years of experience in humanitarian work across Africa. Budo is known for his community projects in agriculture, including avocado farming and dairy cooperatives. He is contesting the Ugunja Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2025 byelection under the KANU party, focusing on poverty reduction, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
