Johannes Orodi

Eng. Johannes Orodi Dovens Odhiambo is a Kenyan politician affiliated with the Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM). He was officially unveiled by Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka as the party’s candidate for the Ugunja Parliamentary by-election scheduled for November 27, 2025. Odhiambo was later cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to contest for the seat, which fell vacant following the appointment of former MP Opiyo Wandayi as the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum. Though detailed information about his personal background, education, and professional history remains limited, his title “Eng.” indicates a background in engineering. His entry into the race under the Wiper banner highlights the party’s effort to strengthen its influence in Siaya County politics.
