Leonard Shimaka

Leonard Necheza Shimaka is a Kenyan advocate of the High Court, a notary public, and a commissioner for oaths, with extensive experience in legal practice and governance. He is the Managing Partner at Marende Necheza & Co. Advocates, specializing in public and private law, dispute resolution, and strategic policy advisory. Shimaka holds an LL.B (Honours) from Uganda Pentecostal University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and is pursuing an LL.M at the University of Nairobi.

In November 2025, he was appointed as an independent director on the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) board, contributing his legal expertise to strengthen institutional integrity and accountability. Shimaka is also actively involved in grassroots politics, particularly in Malava Constituency, where he is emerging as a notable political strategist and community leader.
