The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), with support from ELGIA Africa, has launched an induction workshop for its top officials focusing on election dispute resolution.
The training brings together the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Commissioners to strengthen their capacity in handling disputes that may arise during the electoral process.
Key areas of focus include resolving cases linked to breaches of the Electoral Code of Conduct and disputes surrounding the registration of candidates.
According to organizers, the initiative is aimed at reinforcing IEBC’s ability to deliver credible and transparent elections while ensuring that all grievances are addressed fairly and within the law.
