Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has declared that President William Ruto's administration has lost public support, following the outcome of the Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election.
Speaking after the election, Gachagua claimed the results reflected the people's resolve to reject the Kenya Kwanza administration in the 2027 General Election.
"It is finished, it is over, Mr. President. The people are resolute that they will not vote for this rogue administration again," Gachagua said.
The former deputy president maintained that the by-election outcome was a strong indication of growing opposition to the government, arguing that voters had sent a clear political message ahead of the next general election.
His remarks come after the Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election, which attracted national attention as both the ruling coalition and the opposition viewed it as a key political contest ahead of the 2027 polls.
