President William Ruto has pledged that his government will continue to serve every Kenyan fairly, saying development must not be dictated by political affiliations or voting patterns. Speaking in Kitui, Ruto stressed that inclusivity is key to moving the country beyond tribal politics.
“We are committed to running a government that serves every Kenyan equally, no matter how they voted. This is how we move beyond tribal politics and bring the country together behind a common development agenda,” said Ruto.
Development Projects for Kitui County
During his visit, the President flagged off the KSh2.3 billion Last Mile Electricity Project, which aims to connect 20,000 households in Kitui County to electricity. He said the initiative will boost local businesses, improve access to education and healthcare, and raise living standards.
Ruto also inspected the 33-kilometre Tulia Migwani Mbondoni road, a key infrastructure project expected to open up the region to trade and investment opportunities. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring that every part of the country benefits from national development programs.
Unity Through Equal Development
The President urged Kenyans to rally behind a shared vision for growth and stability, adding that fair service delivery is the cornerstone of unity. “Our agenda is not about who voted for us; it’s about building a Kenya where everyone has access to opportunities,” he said.
