The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has emerged victorious in all the seats contested during the by-elections held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, across four regions in the country.
According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the ruling party secured one parliamentary seat and three Member of County Assembly (MCA) positions. The commission confirmed that the elections were concluded successfully, with results announced by the respective returning officers and subsequently published on its official website.
In a statement shared on Friday, February 27, 2026, the IEBC congratulated the winners and expressed appreciation to voters in the four by-election areas for turning out to participate in the democratic process.
In the parliamentary contest for Isiolo South Constituency, the Returning Officer officially declared the UDA candidate as the duly elected Member of Parliament after tallying the votes.
The outcome further consolidates UDA’s grip in the affected regions and signals the party’s continued political strength ahead of future electoral contests.
