The Electoral Commission, led by Chairperson Erastus Ethekon has officially received the first shipment of election materials ahead of the 27th November 2025 by-elections. The consignment, which arrived this evening, includes 10 pallets containing ballot papers and essential statutory forms required for the smooth administration of the polls.
According to the Commission, the delivery marks a key milestone in the electoral preparation process, ensuring all materials are available in good time for deployment across all affected constituencies. Logistics teams verified and secured the pallets upon arrival, following standard electoral integrity procedures.
The Commission further confirmed that the final batch of 29 pallets is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at exactly 1930hrs. Once received, the full set of ballot papers and statutory documents will undergo inspection before being distributed to various tallying and polling centers.
Officials have assured the public that all preparations remain on schedule, with the Commission committed to supporting a transparent, credible, and efficient by-election process.
