The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has announced the postponement of the planned county delegates elections in Migori County.
In an official notice issued on March 11, 2026, the party’s National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) informed members and stakeholders that the elections would no longer take place on the previously scheduled date.
Elections Postponed Until Further Notice
According to the statement, the Migori County delegates elections had been scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026. However, the party has now postponed the exercise until further notice.
The committee said fresh dates for the elections will be communicated in due course once new arrangements are finalized.
Members Asked to Await Official Communication
Party members and stakeholders within Migori County have been advised to remain patient and wait for official communication from the party regarding the revised election timelines.
The notice was issued in Nairobi by the chairperson of the National Elections Coordinating Committee, Emily Awitta.
ODM said it will provide further updates once preparations for the rescheduled county delegates elections are complete.
