The National Assembly Majority Leader, Kimani Ichung’wah, intensified campaign efforts in Narok Town Ward on Wednesday, throwing his weight behind UDA’s MCA candidate, Robert Kudate, ahead of next week’s by-election.
Ichung’wah traversed village after village, meeting residents and urging them to back Kudate, whom he described as “the most suitable and dependable choice for the people of Narok Town Ward.” He highlighted the ward’s potential, vibrant cultural heritage, and hardworking population, emphasizing the importance of electing leaders committed to community development.
“The people of Narok Town deserve representation that listens, delivers, and empowers,” Ichung’wah said. “Robert Kudate embodies the UDA Party’s vision for servant leadership and accountable governance.”
The UDA Party has maintained that its focus remains on people-centred development and strengthening communities through dedicated leadership. Kudate’s campaign, supporters say, reflects the party’s broader commitment to empowering residents and ensuring quality representation at all levels of government.
Residents welcomed the visit, noting that the by-election provides an opportunity to choose leaders who can address local concerns and support sustainable growth initiatives.
The Narok Town Ward by-election is set for next week, with voters expected to decide on candidates who will shape the ward’s development agenda for the coming years.
